Hi all,
No matter who you are or where you are in the organization, you can
learn something at the Agile 2009 conference. Take a look at the
personas, http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/personas to see which
sessions might be right for you. If you're like me, you might
personalize the program, by choosing multiple personas. When I tried
that, I saw sessions not just in Leadership and Teams, but in
Distributed Agile, Agile & Organizational Culture, Manifesting
Agility, Agile Frontier, and Customers and Business Value.
The one-on-one consulting at Agile will start in LiveAid, where you
can participate or see a project being built in an agile way. It will
finish wherever the participants desire.
The job fair will be in Open Jam, where we will have a place to post
open positions, and a place to post resumes. Bring plenty of job
descriptions or resumes, depending on what you're looking for!
If you're not sure what Open Jam is: it's a place to share questions
and quandaries, talk to the experts, demonstrate software and
techniques, and experiment with emerging Agile practices and ideas.
Sessions are informal. Anyone can convene a session at the Open Jam
stage based on a passion and a commitment to make the session happen.
Place a sticky describing your session at a particular time at a place
in the Open Jam schedule. You'll have fun and walk away with valuable
new insights.
Take a look at the main program page to select sessions whatever way
you like, and send them to your calendar. See http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/programOverview
We are almost out of Early Registrations--grab one while you still
can. Or, organize a group of 5 people and split a 5-pack. See http://www.agileregistration.org
for registration.
I hope to see you in Chicago, Aug 24-28, 2009. It will be a blast!
