Hi all,

In this news update from the Agile 2009 conference, I thought I'd  
highlight the networking opportunities available at Agile 2009.

At the icebreaker Monday night, we have a variety of informal  
networking opportunities:
- At the Fresher's Faire, you can network with people who share  
similar interests
- At the different games and activities, you can network with people  
who like similar games
- You can wander around with a drink of your choice and find  
conversations that interest you

We are working on one-on-one consulting opportunities, as well as a  
job board.

Since many of the sessions are interactive and experiential, you'll  
have plenty of opportunities to meet people at the sessions.

On Tuesday night, we have a sponsor reception. I encourage you to  
wander around and meet people. Feel free to harangue any of the well- 
known speakers. Many of us love the back-and-forth discussions. On  
Wednesday night, you have an opportunity to explore Chicago. This is a  
great time to arrange a dinner or a walk or drinks or something with  
people you've met. Thursday is our banquet, where you'll have a chance  
to network with others.

Open Jam opens on Sunday at 9 am and remains open until Friday noon.  
Put up a sticky with a topic and a time you want to discuss it. Or,  
stake out a place on a couch and discuss the issue of the moment with  
whomever else is there.

If you prefer to use music instead of words, Muzik Masti is acoustic  
this year. You can use Muzik Masti to jam and to network with others.

The networking alone may be something you can use to justify the cost
