Hi all,
Last week, I gave you reasons 10-6 to participate in Agile 2009, Aug
24-28, 2009 in Chicago, Here are reasons 5-1
5. Get signatures! Authors will sign books again this year (if
you can catch them :-) And they might just point out the important
bits if you ask!
4. Find the 100 different ways to use sticky notes and other
“real” agile tools!
3. Agile is way cool and whizzy and very in right now! Don’t be
left out not know what agile really is and how it really works. (The
program is stellar)
2. Be a part of the agile evolution. Help decide where agile
should go next! (Agile Frontier, along with Open Jam)
1. Too Much Fun! Hard to have so much fun if you’re not there!
Evening receptions with great food and drink, laughing with people,
and talking about the ideas you are learning.
I'll talk more about networking in my next email. In the meantime, if
you're having trouble getting your boss to pay, take a look at our
justification toolkit, http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/justificationtoolkit
Want the absolute cheapest registration? Our 5-pack registration is
the cheapest deal. See http://agileregistration.org. If you can't find
4 other people to register with you, take advantage of our member
registration if you are an Agile Alliance member, or a IEEE, DSDM
Consortium, PMI, or APLN member.
Have questions? Email me.
I hope to see you in August,
Johanna
