Hi all,
I hope that those of you who celebrated Canada Day and the US
Independence Day had delightful holidays. To my colleagues around the
world who did not have a holiday last week, I hope you are enjoying
your summer!
You knew that the whole program for Agile 2009 is at: <http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/programOverview
>. And, did you know you can see the program in several ways:
1. By time: go to the program page, and click on any time you want to
look at: <http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/programOverview>
2. By stage: go to <http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/stages> and
click on any stage you would like to see the program for.
3. By persona: go to <http://agile2009.agilealliance.org/personas> and
find the persona that best fits you. (Or, if you're like me, there are
several personas that fit, so look at each of them!) Click on the
persona name above the picture and see the sessions for that persona.
Yes, we will still have a program guide at the conference, so you will
be able to see the sessions on paper, too. And, one of our sponsors is
creating an iPhone app. More on that later.
I'm also investigating some social media sites for sharing which
sessions you choose to attend. I hope to have more information for you
on that soon.
If you look at the sessions, you can see that this is the premier
Agile conference. If you are new to agile, this is the place to be. If
you are practicing and want to exchange ideas with other folks, this
is the place. If you are an expert and are looking to expand your
agile practices, this is the place to be.
Super Early Bird registration is sold out. You can still register as
an early bird. Or, If you and four other people (from your company or
just off the street) are willing to register together, the 5-pack is
still the cheapest registration option. See <https://www.agileregistration.org/
> for registration.
If you're not keeping up with the Agile 2009 blog, I encourage you to
do so. Here's the url:
<http://agile2009.wordpress.com/>. We've been posting about different
personas so people can determine which persona may fit them and
therefore which sessions might fit better.
We make more frequent announcements on the blog and provide more
information.
Want to follow the conference on twitter? You can follow this hashtag:

I hope to see you in Chicago, Aug 24-28,
Johanna
